Opium Wars
In a recent documentary produced by PBS’s flagship series FRONTLINE, journalist Najibullah Quaraishi documents the suffering of peasant farmers in Afghanistan and their struggles with the drug industry. The documentary titled, Opium Brides, takes us into the world of the Afghans. The word bride is euphemism for sex slave. The resurgence in the opium trade can be attributed to Bush’s invasion and Obama’s continuation of this needless and costly occupation.
The racket involves drug smugglers loaning money to poor Afghans in order to produce poppies for the smugglers. In some cases, the Afghan government eradicate their crops before harvest, thus, leaving the farmers holding the bag and having no way of repaying their debts. Most Afghan peasants own very little, thus, they use their children as collateral in these unholy loans. The US government gives the Afghan government seeds to distribute as an alternative to growing opium. In many cases the corrupt Hamid Karzai government end up keeping that seeds instead of distributing them to the farmers.
Mullah Muhammad Omar, the one-eyed landless peasant and veteran platoon commander of the war against the Soviets remains the Commander-in-Chief of the Afghan rebels. 10 years after the American invasion, this 53-year-old continues to evade the most sophisticated intelligence apparatus in the world, all while commanding the rebel forces in Afghanistan. Mullah Omar came to power after he freed two teenage girls who were being raped by warlords in Kandahar. He hanged the criminals and conquered most of Afghanistan within 2 years. The Taliban with their low-tech unsophistication were able to reduce the opium production in what was hailed as one of the most successful anti-drug campaigns in history.
With the most powerful military in the world, there is no question that if the policymakers really wanted to, opium production would have completely ceased. However, this is not what they want. The bitter truth is that NATO facilitates the production of opium. Marines actively guard poppy fields! It helps fund covert ops for the CIA, the drugs are then sent to Europe and Russia to destabilize their economies etc… The cruelty being inflicted on the children who are raped for drugs is thanks in part of Washington’s consciousness efforts.

To those who have researched the September 11th attacks, it is obvious that Osama Bin Laden and Mullah Omar had nothing to do with those crimes. On the day of the attacks, there was not one Arab or Afghan arrested in connection to the September 11 attacks. It was in fact Israelis Mossad spies who had been arrested and then later released by the dual Israeli/American citizen Michael Chertoff.
They (Mossad agents) had been caught in New Jersey filming and cheering the 911 attacks on the World Trade Center. Interestingly enough they were apprehended with large sums of cash, false passports, and boxcutters (the same devices used in the hijackings). The FBI also found self-taken photos of very happy Mossad agents grinning and flicking their lighters with the World Trade Center burning in the background. Chertoff also allowed all of the apprehended Israeli spies to return to Israel out of the reach of American investigators. (Source)
Humanitarian Hypocrisy
In my previous article, Million Dollar Men — American Soldiers in Afghanistan, I remind readers that the corporate media kept cheerleading the cause of Women’s Liberation in Afghanistan. The noble cause was to help the poor and the weak. Yet, because of our intervention, innocent Afghan daughters and sons are being taken from their parents. They’re sold into bondage. This is the Woman’s Liberation farce that was sold to the American people in order to slave their consciousness from the crimes of war. Author Matthias Chang coined the phrase serial war criminal and there wouldn’t be a better example in using that phrase in describing the actions of the occupied American government as in the case of the illegal Afghan invasion. This is all happening under our noise yet we refuse to confront reality.
NATO Loosing Ground
US military commanders thought it would be easy to defeat the Islamic Resistance, but they’ve been getting a run for their money for over a decade. In 2010 the US military was forced to retreat from the Korengal Valley because of the overwhelming causalities the military had suffered in that area. The US media blackout regarding this event was obvious. The Washington Post even had a few propaganda pictures to go along with article that showed local elders holding hands with US soldiers. The truth of the matter is that the elders wanted the foreign military off their lands.
Shortly after the US withdrawal from the Korengal Valley the Taliban showed up with pickup trucks and began collecting stockpiled ammunition and weapons left behind by the US Army. The Korengal Valley resembles the the A Shau Valley from the Vietnam War. In almost every engagement in the A Shau, the Vietnamese inflicted heavy causalities upon American forces. There’s a famous line recalled by Vietnam Vets and that is: We never lost a battle. This in fact is a boldfaced lie, the 101st suffered such heavy losses in the A Shau Valley in 1970 that they were forced to retreat and abandon their firebase named Ripcord. Soldiers were so desperate to escape the onslaught that was brought to bear by the NVA that one soldier held on for dear life as he tried to escape by holding on to one of the helicopters skids, only to fall to his death as he lost his grip. One soldier sat on top of one of the artillery pieces as the Chinooks transported it back to safety before Ripcord was overrun. The A Shau is also where the famous Hamburger Hill battle was fought. History doesn’t repeat but history resonates.
Unlike the conscript soldiers of North Vietnam, the rebels in Afghanistan are comprised of volunteers from throughout the Muslim World and from unlikely places such as Britain, Germany, USA, etc…
When The Paper Tiger Dollar Hits the Fan
It isn’t certain and we cannot ascertain the exact time when the US dollar, the world reserve currency, will collapse. The signs of its demise are becoming more apparent as the and grains continue to trickle down the hourglass. The fate of NATO will be disastrous if the dollar collapses in a flash crash.
Sun Tzu says: When you do battle, even if you are winning in battle, if you go on too long there will be no profit. In military operations, total victory is important; if you dull your forces and blunt your edge, sustaining casualties and battle fatigue, then you will be exhausted.
An exhausted US military cannot stand against a future engagement with China or Russia. If the American people continue to allow their corrupt leaders to take them into another war, facing Russia and China could be a real possibility. As former Air Force Captain Matthew Nasuti wrote:
NATO and American forces have such exorbitant daily supply needs that the Taliban could force some or potentially most Western forces to retreat from Afghanistan within 30 days. (Source)
Iran and Syria have a mutual defense pact and if Washington makes the mistake of opening a front against either of those two countries. They put all NATO forces in peril and they will lose air superiority in Afghanistan. Both countries posses shoulder fired anti-aircraft missiles and this will make it impossible for NATO forces to resupply and without air superiority, closing the road networks that supply the military bases in Afghanistan will become a reality. The armed forces will have become prisoners in the landlocked Afghanistan. As former ISI General Hamid Gul repeated several times on the Alex Jones Show; Afghanistan is not Vietnam and America has to cooperate with Pakistan. In light of all of the recent aggression against Pakistan, if the dollar collapses there will be a snowball’s chance in hell that the Pakistanis will allow the military safe passage to the sea.
Our “leaders” are dishonest, unscrupulous, greedy and corrupt chicken hawks who like to grandstand and act tough behind their walls of security with their well armed body guards standing at the ready. They have no concern whatsoever about the safety of American servicemen and women. They’re only purpose at this point is to loot the ship before it sinks. As Robert Higgs said: (Congress) simply handed over its power to the executive and returned to the workaday plundering that is its only remaining raison d’être. Our leaders are too busy involved with gay prostitution in public toilets, they’re too busy sexting their wieners, and these clowns are the scoundrels leading us into more conflict around the globe.

It’s not hard to see that 911 was a very profitable venture for the US government. Contractors made millions off the charred bodies of nearly 3,000 people who died on that day and on those who continue to die in the ongoing imperialist wars. More than one million Iraqis paid the ultimate price, for freedom and liberty of course. Even though Osama Bin Laden admits that he had nothing to do with 911, the FBI was forced to concede this fact as well. FBI spokesman Rex Tomb stated that:
“The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.” (Source)
The media was more than happy to blame the Muslims for the attacks. They’ve had to carry the lion’s share of the burden for the crimes for which they did not commit.
Whistleblower
In a recent video from a FORA conference former NSA employee and whistle blower Thomas Drake admitted that the higher echelons of the agency considered 911 to be a ‘gift’. In 2007 Drake’s home was raided by the FBI. It was a retaliatory move against him because he wasn’t going along with the abuses. Not the first or last time the FBI is used to terrorize political opponents of the agenda.
Mr. Drake stated: I did what I did because I am rooted in the faith that my duty was to the American people . . . I knew that you did not spy on Americans and that we were accountable for spending American taxpayer monies wisely.
In 2010 he was indicated of 5 counts of Willful Retention of National Defense Information, 1 count of Obstructing justice, and 4 counts of Making a False Statement. However, in 2011 all charges were dropped against him. Mr. Drake claims that he had the intelligence that could have prevented the 911 attacks. Did Mr. Drake have dirt on the real perpetrators of 911?
Osama Agrees
In one of the last authentic interview Osama Bin Laden gave before he passed away. Bin Laden acutely noted that:
Then there are intelligence agencies in the U.S., which require billions of dollars worth of funds from the Congress and the government every year. This [funding issue] was not a big problem till the existence of the former Soviet Union but after that the budget of these agencies has been in danger. They needed an enemy. So, they first started propaganda against Usama and Taleban and then this incident happened. You see, the Bush Administration approved a budget of 40 billion dollars. Where will this huge amount go? It will be provided to the same agencies, which need huge funds and want to exert their importance. Now they will spend the money for their expansion and for increasing their importance.(Source)

The establishment media is all over a story about members of a crackpot “National Socialist movement” from Detroit “occupying” Sanford, Florida, where Trayvon Martin was killed.
And yet they do not talk about violent racist threats by the New Black Panther Party (NBPP).
The rule of law is gone. What happens when technology, transportation and human capital also disappear?
The dollar can collapse today or it can collapse within 10 years. We don’t know exactly when or how it will occur. Will it be sudden or will it be slow? The important thing is that we must all be prepared for such an event. Contingency planning should be on the top of your to do list. MiamiPrepper1 shares his thoughts about the current situation we find ourselves in. He notes that people are extremely stressed out because of the financial environment and he is correct. The grass is dry and anything can set people off nowadays.
